Weight & Metabolic Health
Metabolic care built around your biology. Not a one-size-fits-all plan.
No referral. No waiting months. No rushed visits.
Does this sound familiar?
You’re putting in the work, but your weight won’t move the way it should.
You’ve been told your bloodwork is “normal,” but you know something is off.
Prediabetes or insulin resistance runs in your family, and you want to get ahead of it.
You’ve heard about GLP-1 medications and want real guidance, not just a prescription.
You’re not lacking willpower. Metabolism is complex and often misunderstood.
What We Evaluate & Treat
Obesity and weight management, including GLP-1 medications
PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome, formerly PCOS) and related metabolic conditions
Metabolic syndrome and cardiometabolic risk
Insulin resistance, prediabetes, and all forms of diabetes
PMOS: More Than an Ovary Condition
You may know this condition as PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). Today, it is increasingly referred to as PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome) to better reflect what it truly is: a whole-body hormonal and metabolic condition, not simply an ovarian disorder.
PMOS can affect:
Weight
Difficulty losing weight
Increased abdominal fat
Slower metabolic response
Blood Sugar
Insulin resistance
Prediabetes risk
Blood sugar fluctuations
Energy
Fatigue
Energy crashes
Brain fog
Hormones
Irregular cycles
Elevated androgens
Fertility concerns
Long-Term Health
Cholesterol changes
Sleep issues
Increased metabolic risk
Why This Matters
Because insulin resistance is part of the picture for most people with PMOS, treatment goes beyond managing reproductive symptoms. At Axis, we evaluate the full hormonal and metabolic picture—including weight, metabolism, blood sugar, and long-term health—to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses the root causes, not just the symptoms.
A Different Approach
At Axis, we don’t just hand you a number to hit.
We look at what’s actually driving your metabolism, your weight, your energy, and your long-term health, and we build from there.
• We look for the root cause, not just the symptom
• We use medication when it helps, and we use it well
• We build a plan tailored to your body, your goals, and your life
This is about working with your body. Not fighting it.
